About Drone Photography

Aerial photography has existed almost as long as cameras have. Drone photography as been around in Minneapolis, MN long before Gopher Aerial.  In 1858 Nadar got into a hot air balloon and took the first aerial photograph in Paris, France.  Eventually cameras were put on kites, pigeons, rockets, and aircraft.  As technology improved, and drones have become more affordable, people began putting cameras on drones.  People have always been amazed at pictures from a bird’s eye view.  Drone photography has opened up the possibility of aerial views for a multitude of applications, saving time and money for what once was costly or difficult to obtain.
